TEACHERS

Celebrating 10 years, Prana Yoga Center was founded in 2001 by Gerhard & Alexandra Gessner. A long-time La Jolla resident and Yoga instructor of 28 years Gerhard fulfilled his dream of offering his love and passion for Yoga in a beautiful, light-filled space in downtown La Jolla.

Since 2006 Prana has established one of the most reputable and comprehensive teacher training programs in San Diego, including a partnership with YOGAWORKS, bringing their Advanced 300-Hour Teacher Training to San Diego.

Prana Yoga has been voted "Best Yoga Studio" by La Jolla Light and La Jolla Village News for several years. And again in 2011, Prana Yoga received a "Readers Choice Award" in the category BEST YOGA STUDIO in La Jolla.
